Rikki Bandekow is an experienced counselling psychologist and psychotherapist with a wide range of expertise including working with issues related to trauma, body symptoms, grief, depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties. She is passionate about supporting people to explore and find meaning in their lives; discovering what blocks us from living fully and developing strategies to clear the way forward. Rikki also has extensive experience working with people on the Autism Spectrum.
Rikki’s approach is person-centred and draws on a variety of therapeutic modalities, depending on the needs of the client. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, and Process Oriented Psychology.
Rikki is a bilingual English and German speaker and offers therapy in both languages.
Training in Gestalt Therapy (Advanced Diploma), Systemic Family Therapy, Rikki is currently a Phase 2 Student in Process Oriented Psychology.
